From Tuesday 8th June running until Thursday 24th June, Millar and Bryce will be hosting 5 new webinars. Aimed at both the commercial and residential markets, these webinars will highlight areas of potential risk, as well as showcase solutions, on a variety of topics including Deed Plan Services and Plans Reports; Title Investigations; Flood Risk; Contaminated Land; and Coal Reports. Hosted by Shona Smans, Engagement & Solutions Lead and our panel of subject matter experts from M&B, Landmark Information Group and Pinpoint , the webinars will provide context and give a deeper understanding to the intricacies of reports and services available in these areas.

“What’s the Plan?  Understanding the complexities of Plans and Plans Reports”

Tuesday 8 June 10.30-11.15am

Gary Donaldson, Product & Operations Director and Carole Russell, Plans Technical Advisor will explore the evolution of Plans Reports and Deed Plans considering the complexities arising under the 1979 & 2012 Acts. Using examples and case studies, they will showcase how M&B can support customers and provide mapping solutions to facilitate your transactions.

Thursday 10 June 10.30-11.15am

Shona Smans, Engagement & Solutions Lead & Eric Willis, Project Manager (Solutions) will provide an overview of Millar & Bryce’s Title Investigation Services. They will walk through an example investigation explaining the processes used and support we offer to identify ownership & other interests in land. They will also describe how we combine our Sasine searching expertise and our plans & mapping skills to provide an all encompassing report.

Climate scientists predict that the UK will experience much more flooding of the type seen during recent winters. Shona Smans, Engagement & Solutions Lead at M&B will be joined by Jake Hawkey, SME Programme Manager at Landmark Information Group to look at the scale of flooding in Scotland and consider whether our perception of risk needs to adapt.
