Richard Hepburn

Managing Director

Richard joined M&B in 2017 following 10 years at MD level in private equity-backed businesses in the research, testing and consulting space.  Throughout his career he has held senior roles in both project management and business development working nationally and internationally in retail, distribution, and aviation services sectors. As Managing Director and part of the Landmark Group Senior Management team, Richard brings his extensive experience to drive, change and develop Millar & Bryce into a forward thinking, technology driven business to revolutionise the property searching sector in Scotland. Outside of work, Richard finds his escapism in reading detective novels, is an avid sports enthusiast and enjoys both rugby and football and as well as dabbling in the kitchen.

Gary Donaldson

Operations Director

Gary is Operations Director at M&B and is responsible for driving innovation across our operational processes and ensuring that our delivery of searches to customers is market leading.

He has been with M&B since 2004. Previously having roles in Registers of Scotland and Ordnance Survey, he has a broad background of experience in the land and property sector. Gary leads on M&B changes when there are updates to practice or legislation and continues to look at improvements to support the wider registration process.

Gary is a member of the LexisNexis panel of Property Law Experts and regularly speaks on range of plans and land registration matters at events across Scotland. He was also instrumental in creating the Millar Bryce publication “A Basic Guide to Conveyancing” which is distributed to students of the Diploma in Legal Practice courses across Scotland.

Lorna Kerr

Business Development Director

Lorna is the Business Development Director, responsible for the performance of the M&B residential sales team and the strategic growth and development of Landmark Scotland. 

Lorna has 20 years experience in prop tech and digital media, working with Scotland’s leading property professionals across the New Build, Estate Agency and Legal sectors. Lorna previously led the roll out and market growth of the portal OnTheMarket.com in Scotland, leading and developing the sales team and building on previous sales and business development experience with s1homes, Herald and Times Group. Lorna’s market knowledge and experience greatly complements Landmark’s overall commercial strategy for Scotland. 

In her spare time, Lorna is a busy mum of two boys, spending much of her time at the football pitch or hiking with her Husky Loki.
