Over the past year, the team has supported more than 600 Scottish law firms, delivering around 160,000 search reports annually while maintaining 99.4% on-time delivery combined with robust quality assurance processes. Their focus on responsiveness and operational efficiency, including rapid email response targets and automation-driven report delivery, has helped remove friction from time-critical conveyancing workflows.

By combining deep sector knowledge with technology-driven processes, Millar & Bryce continues to remove friction from day-to-day workflows, ensuring firms receive the responsive and dependable support they rely on.

A milestone year and sector contribution

The shortlisting also reflects a significant milestone for the business. In 2025, Millar & Bryce marked its 150th anniversary, using the opportunity to invest further in the future of the profession.

As part of this programme, the team delivered a series of initiatives designed to support and engage the Scottish conveyancing community, including:

  • A nationwide CPD accredited roadshow, providing practical guidance on innovation and emerging challenges
  • A flagship industry conference, bringing together legal and property experts to explore the future of conveyancing
  • The development of the Scottish Conveyancing Handbook (5th Edition), an expanded resource created in collaboration with contributors from across the sector

Together, these initiatives demonstrate a broader commitment beyond core services, supporting knowledge-sharing, professional development, and collaboration across the legal community.
