M&B Team taking part in the Big Sleep Out
Published December 2, 2019
The World’s Big Sleep Out trust has been established by Social Bite’s Co-Founder Josh Littlejohn to bring the Sleep in the Park concept worldwide. 300 people took part in the 2016 CEO sleepout, 8,000 in the 2017 Sleep in the Park, growing to 10,000 in 2018. What was born in Scotland is now being taken to the global stage.
Social Bite is delighted to be a beneficiary and partner of The World’s Big Sleep Out; a global call to end global homelessness. Our Millar & Bryce team will be helping to raise the life-saving funds needed to help 1,400 homeless and displaced people in Scotland.
Millar & Bryce are supporting Social Bite through this initiative, as well as their excellent work in the Social Bite Village where one of our staff, Peter Leslie, is working on a 3-month employee placement program.
Richard Hepburn, our Managing Director, looks forward to his first experience of sleeping under the stars in Princes’ Street Gardens: ‘Social Bite provides a network of support through meals, job placements and housing to people in need. We love supporting their cause and are excited to take part as a team, enjoying the evening and hopefully staying warm! I am pleased to have Deborah Ramage, Gary Donaldson, Andre Boyle, Louise Waddell, Peter Leslie and Darren Mossman with me on the night!’
